CCMR - China Cardiometabolic Registries is a research program co-organized by Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians (CCCP), Chinese Endocrinologists Association (CEA), and VitalStrategic Research Institute (VSRI). It is composed of a series of individual registries or cohort studies designed to gain better understanding of unmet medical needs and clinical outcomes in current management of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases in China.
CCMR will be the largest research program of its kind ever being planned in China. It is expected to generate significant amount of data and evidence about disease progression and disease management, which will lead the way to better define the gaps between clinical practice and medical guidelines, the effectiveness and safety of diagnostic and therapeutic advancement, and the opportunities of improving the quality of patient care. It is also expected to enhance the practice of evidence based medicine among healthcare providers, healthcare industries, and various service organizations. Ultimately, CCMR is designed as an approach to continuously improving the quality of healthcare in China and to making contributions to the international research of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
On behalves of CCCP, CEA and the CCMR advisory board, we welcome you to participate in the CCMR program and provide your best support regardless if you are an industry sponsor, a hospital administrator, a medical colleague, or a patient. Together we are responsible to the continuous improvement of patient care and the advancement of healthcare technology. Together we can!
